ARGOS PUBLISHING VE TİCARET A.Ş. INFORMATION TEXT ON THE PROTECTION AND PROCESSING OF CUSTOMER PERSONAL DATA
According to the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“Law”), name/surname, Turkish Republic Identity Number, place and date of birth, identity card serial number, e-mail address, telephone number, address, order preferences, IBAN Number, invoice information, check/promissory note information, credit card information in the mail order form, information in correspondence with judicial authorities and information in the case file are within the scope of personal data. Your personal data mentioned above may be processed by ARGOS PUBLISHING VE TİCARET A.Ş. (“ARGOS”) as the “Data Controller” within the scope explained below.
1. For What Purposes Will Personal Data Be Processed:
Your collected personal data will be processed within the scope of the personal data processing conditions specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law for the purposes of;
• Carrying out goods, services, production and operation processes,
• Carrying out marketing processes of products and services,
• Carrying out finance and accounting affairs,
• Carrying out activities aimed at customer satisfaction,
• Carrying out communication activities,
• Managing customer relations management processes,
• Following up and carrying out legal affairs.
2. To Whom and for What Purposes Can the Processed Personal Data Be Transferred:
Your collected personal data may be transferred to;
• Natural persons or private law legal entities,
• Authorized public institutions and organizations, in line with the realization of the purposes specified above, within the framework of the personal data processing conditions specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law.
3. Method and Legal Reason for Collecting Personal Data: Your personal data is collected in any verbal, written or electronic environment, in line with the fulfillment of the purposes listed above, based on your explicit consent or based on the legal reasons specified in Article 5 of the KVKK; • It is expressly provided for by the laws,
• It is necessary to process personal data of the parties to a contract, provided that it is directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract,
• It is mandatory for the data controller to fulfill its legal obligation, • It has been made public by the relevant person, • Data processing is mandatory for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right,
• Data processing is mandatory for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the relevant person. We hereby inform you that, as the personal data owner, you have the following rights pursuant to Article 11 of the Law:
• To learn whether personal data is being processed, • To request information regarding personal data if it has been processed,
• To learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether it is being used in accordance with its purpose, • To know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,
• To request correction of personal data if it is processed incompletely or incorrectly and to request notification of the action taken within this scope to third parties to whom personal data is transferred,
• To request deletion or destruction of personal data if the reasons requiring processing are eliminated despite the fact that it has been processed in accordance with the provisions of the Law and other relevant laws and to request notification of the action taken within this scope to third parties to whom personal data is transferred,
• To object to the emergence of a result to the detriment of the person by means of analysis of processed data exclusively through automated systems,
• To request compensation for the damages incurred due to unlawful processing of personal data. You can submit your applications regarding your rights listed above by filling out the “Data Owner Application Form” on our website, in person with a wet signature to ARGOS Alemdağ Mahallesi 108.Sokak No:8 Çekmeköy/İstanbul or via e-mail to info@argos.com. Depending on the nature of your request, your applications will be finalized free of charge as soon as possible and within thirty days at the latest; however, if the transaction requires an additional cost for ARGOS, you may be charged a fee according to the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.
